Quality & safety

Everything here is meant to be chewed, dropped, dragged and washed. These are the things we check before a product goes on the shop.

• Nothing smaller than a 35mm choke tube goes to a product marked 0–6m, 6–12m or 1–2y
• Wooden toys are sanded and finished with a water-based, food-safe coating
• Straps, zips and seams are pulled by hand before a bag is listed
• Fabrics are washed once before photography, so what you see has already been through a wash

An age band on a product is a safety label, not a size. A toy marked 3–4y is marked that way because of what is inside it, and a small three-year-old should still not be given a 5–6y toy unsupervised.

If something arrives wrong

Tell us and send it back. "Arrived damaged" and "Wrong item sent" are two of the reasons on the return form, and neither costs you anything — a damaged item is not restocked, it is taken out of circulation.
